Hello Dreamwidth
Decided to make a dreamwidth account. Which you can probably tell if you're reading this.
I had intended to join the ante-up losers big bang, but was too late to sign up for a bang sized work, so I'm hoping I can get a spot cheerleading someone else's story. It might serve as a slightly better introduction for me as to how big bangs actually work, since I've never participated in one before. The reason I missed signing up for a bang sized work was that I was too busy typing up the fic I currently have going, so it might be for the best that I missed my shot. I'll try again next time, and hopefully won't be in the middle of writing a behemoth of a fic.

I check emails before and after work, similarly, but I haven't used Skype in that way, only as a work-related phone contact window, can't use that one for this purpose. Not sure if I'd need to sign up again under my gmail address??
Chat windows can be great for brainstorming realtime, but not as easy for really busy people with chaotic schedules (not like anyone we know...)

Skype is good as both a message board and a chat window. If I've got my computer sleeping or off, any messages that get sent will pop up as soon as I've launched the program. There's also the option of creating group chats with it.
If there's a different chat system you're more comfortable with or that would be less complicated for you, then please advise me since I'm not overly familiar with chats. Last I used was the gmail chat and they've discontinued that. (which is a shame since it was actually really useful for letting me know when I had new emails to check)
It's also possible that there's some kind of google whatever that would allow us to post brainstorms, but I'm not 100% sure.
